It all started with discovering
my dad’s refugee diary.

Hi! My name’s Amelia and I’m a millennial mum who is passionate about language and culture preservation, while helping others bridge generation gaps meaningfully and creatively through Chinese calligraphy. Like millions of other kids, I grew up incredibly confused with a Vietnamese surname, but is Australian-born Chinese.

I help modern Asian millennials and Chinese culture enthusiasts, to strengthen and improve the quality of their relationships with themselves and others, one stroke at a time. I have been so blessed with collaborations with reputable brands, including Celine, Prada, Tiffany & Co, Fendi, Dior, Pop Mart, Westfield and Twitter in providing professional Chinese calligraphy services.

In September 2023, I co-hosted a free workshop called Sail To Survive 《渡海求生》a deep dive into Asian Mental Health, through sharing the true events documented in my father's 40 year-old Vietnamese Refugee journal. These entries were chosen and expressed in Chinese calligraphy, to showcase my appreciation for not only my father’s Chinese penmanship, but commemorating sailing to survive.
